However, expanding a small image to a much larger dimension (upscaling) will inherently make it look blurry or pixelated, as data cannot be magically created. Shrinking an image (downscaling) generally retains crispness. Using PNG export also prevents visual compression artifacts.

Locking the aspect ratio ensures your image doesn't look stretched or squished. If you change the width, the height automatically updates to keep the original proportions matching. Only unlock the ratio if you deliberately want to stretch the image to specific dimensions.

Because all processing happens entirely within your web browser for strict privacy, there are no artificial MB limits. However, extremely large images (e.g., 50MB+ photos from professional cameras) might cause your browser tab to slow down or run out of memory. There are zero server constraints!
